can i use code warrior for software simulation?

Hello:

The answer depends on the device you are using. Chip simulation is only available for S08 and S12 family devices. ColdFire and Kinetis devices cannot be simulated using CodeWarrior, thus you need a debugging tool (PE Micro, Segger).

What DSP target are you concerning here?

I think it is available, but I am not sure if all DSP targets/families can be simulated.

To be sure please repost your question in the DSP forum (CodeWarrior for StarCore) or submit a service request here. In both cases please do not forget to mention the exact number part (unless your question is generic?).
