Linker error in a smartDSP project

Hi,

I'm completely new with Freescale Starcore DSP, and I'm trying for the first time to run a project that I've created using the wizard in the codeWarrior. My project is set to smartDSP OS, and when I'm trying to compile it, I'm getting a linker error as following: "Fatal(F1008): LCF configuration: in core c0: SECTION 'stack' is not placed into any memory".

How do I fix this problem? How and where do I set the stack in the memory?

Hi,

In your CodeWarrior installation folder you have the Help\PDF folder. In this

folder there is the document "StarCore SC3000 Linker User Guide". In this

document you will find the "Linker Error Messages" chapter, that describes what

the linker errors mean and how to fix them. Look for EID_SEC_NOT_PLACED.
