Why can not import PEx component with driver *.drv to develop. It happens in CodeWarrior 11.1 and MCUXpresso. Also inherited component is not available in MCUXpresso, and in CodeWarrior  imported component is RO.

Regards,

Marceli

Marceli Firlej,

processor expert is only supported in CodeWarrior.

MCUXpresso IDE doesn't support processor expert, and there is no plan to support it.

For MCUXpresso IDE, our recommended config tool is "MCUXpresso Config Tool" which is integrated in MCUXpresso IDE already. its standalone version is in this url

MCUXpresso Config Tools|Software Development for NXP Microcontrollers (MCUs) | NXP

Have a great day,
Jun Zhang

Processor Express is user language, which I can fast reconfigure mine application, not spending much time. Therefore I am using Code Warrior or Kinetis IDE. I also tried put PEx plugins to MCUxpresso but is not supporting toolchain properly, because Config Tool is not the same.

Thanks,

Marceli
