CW connect DEVKIT-S12XE

Hi Sir,

I got the error message when I try to debug code on the DEVKIT-S12XE.

Could you help to the issue ?

Edison,

sounds like you have secured your S12XE. It could be caused by ECC failure in flash security phrase. Security may get engaged if you use CodeWarrior to download project, which specifies any of P-flash protection byte at 0x7F_FF0C, EEE protection byte, flash nonvolatile byte, or flash security byte. If you do specify any of these, then you need to add to your connection xxx_Preload.cmd this line

FLASH NOUNSECURE

it will solve issue of double flash security phrase programming (which causes ECC failure and forces security enable).

I don't know does DEVKIT-S12XE have P&E Multilink on board or something else. If Multilink then you may download Unsecure12 utility from pemicro.com.
