The Classic CodeWarrior does not support Windows 7 or Windows 8, the latest version 7.2 only supports Windows XP and Vista(32-bit).
The first version for Coldfire which officially supports Windows 7 is Eclipse version v10.0, and now the latest Eclipse CodeWarrior version is 10.6: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=CW-MCU10
There is a workaround to install CW for Coldfire v7.2 on Windows 7 64 bit in XP mode. This mode is available only on Win 7 Professional. It’s a XP emulation.
However there is a P&E driver issue. Customer must download the V10 from P&E web site too.

However, this is un-official recommended installation. By default we recommend use to switch to Eclipse CodeWarrior.
