Problem with srecLoad

Hello,

I'm working with DSP56F8346 and CodeWarrior version 5.6. I'm trying to load my application using the Srec program but the Srec fails and displays the message: Loading Time: 223468ms. First, I loaded the bootloader to DSP56F8346 using JTAG. Then I execute the command: srecLoad -i:COM1 -s:myApplication.elf.S -b:115200 -l:log.txt. Is there any problem with bootloader or the S file need any change? I read the SCI/CAN Bootloader user manual and did every step to load an application but it didn´t work. Does anybody solve this problem already?

Hello guys,

I solved the problem. Instead of using srecLoad, I'm using hyperterminal and the bootloader is working.

The Special edition contains the special edition license limited to 32 kb of Code.
If you need another version of the license please contact your local distributor.

Go to the www.freescale.com and click on My Freescale.
After you were logged, select CodeWarrior Licensing under MY Secure Application.
In the new dialog you can manage your license file.

Keep in mind you can have several versions installed on the same PC.
There is only one restriction: install them on separate folder.
If you're using an old version, please backup your project before to try it with this new version.
If you will meet some compatibility issue you could back to the older version without problem.
