Problem with FlexID HC12(x) 4.7 licensing

Hi All,

I already activate the CW 7.1 for ColdFire with USB key license without problems and al is working well.

Now I'm trying to activate my copy of CW for HC12(x) 4.7 with the same USB license without success.

I put the license.dat file (sent to me from theatomatic web service) in the installation directory, but the CW always says me (when I compile my project) that I'm using the evaluation license that limits the code size.

What's my error? What I can do to activate this product ?

Hi,

1) Does the HOSTID string within license.dat match for both licenses? If the license is locked to USB dongle that HOSTID should include something like: HOSTID=FLEXID=9-xxxxxxxx. The number must macht with the number printed on USB dongle body.

2) What is the value of env. variable LM_LICENSE_FILE (type "set LM_LICENSE_FILE" in DOS command line)? If you don't use other FlexLM licensed product I'd suggest you to delete it. Otherwise the license is searched in the LM_LICENSE_FILE paths first.

I solved the problem, but I'm totally not happy!!!!

The standard license con CW suite doesn't support the C++ compiler for HC12.

I cannot loose 1000 euros to buy a professional version!!!!
