New USB TAP (aka CodeWarrior TAP) does not work with CW Classic?

We are using CW 8.8 for PowerPC (Windows Hosted) and needed more JTAG adaptors, sadly the USB TAPs are no longer made and the site recommended the CW TAP.

USB and Ethernet, nice...  but it does not work with CW Classic, only CW 10

We opened a support ticket with FSL a week ago.. no news

I am hoping there is a new firmware image for the TAP to support the older interface.

No downloads for it on the website...

Anyone run into this before?
