version CodeWarrior for 68K Embedded Systems v3.2,

when click the debug button，Error "Could not open fconfig file C\prgramfiles\metrowerks\codewarrior\E68Ksupport\Initialization_Files\M68360QUADS_PnE.cfg""

first time Develop the freescale MCU,,,thanks for help！

Hi,

CW for M68K V3.2 is very old, released in 2002.

This version was designed for Win XP 32 bit OS.

To avoid problem we recommend to use XP OS.

What is the interface supported ?

Again this tool was released in 2002 so the interface supported are defined in the

\CodeWarrior_68K_3.2\CodeWarrior Manuals\PDF\Targeting_Embedded_68K_ColdFire.pdf manual.

Please have a look page 174.

    Serial - MetroTRK

    Ethernet - MetroTRK

    BDM - P&E Micro

    BDM - P&E Lightning

successfully installed in a XP OS。

I also installed version CodewarriorV5.0 for another development board。

but then the two version of codewarrior could not detect the Multilink Universal FX（P&E micro）...

The problem is really really more and more，haha

Hi,

This interface is not supported.

The Multilink and Multilink FX interfaces were released may be 4 years ago.

CW for M68K V3.2 is supporting older version only based on Parallel on host interface.

> BDM port for parallel interface from P&E Microsystems for CPU32

The P&E interface supported is:

    P&E Microcomputer Systems - CABLE_16/32 (Discontinued) - CPU16/3xx BDM Interface (5V, Parallel Port)...

Unfortunately this interface is not available anymore.

The Mulitlink FX replaces it but this is not supported by CW for M68K V3.2.

There is same problem with other older CW versions for HC12 and HC08.

P&E released some patches to solve the problem.

I know this is working for HC12  and HC08.

A patch for M68K is available but I don't know if this is working.

thank you very much!

I have install the two patches and successfully download program by Codewarrior5.0,

but failed in Codewarrior3.2, message"P&E BDM error!BDM returned an error message(0X100003c)".

I will check my PCBboard,

I will also ask PE micro for some help.
