Hi,

 

Currently, I'm using:

CodeWarrior USB TAP: CWH-CTP-BASE-HE

Software: MobileGT V9.2

OS: Window XP 32bit

 

  1. I had gotten the license (nodelock) from NXP
    website for my XP laptop.

Had also run setup.bat from "freescale - MobileGT V9.2 - ccs - drivers - USB -
Setup"
to install the USB drivers.

However, I'm still facing license problem(see pictures at the end). 

 

Had also tried with changing the CCS folder and install
the USB drivers but can’t.

 

 

2.     Codewarrior USB TAP "run/pause" LED did not
light up after connecting to the target board.

 

* I have no license issue with Win 7 laptop. However, the codewarrior doesnt communicate with my target board at all. *

 

I have colleuage using CWH-UTP-PPCC-HE and has no problem
with the same target board.

 

Could you please give us some advice how to solve these
problems? I need to resolve this asap. I had been trying win7 and win xp for this 2 months.

Yet problem can't be solve.

Hi Evan,

The Flash Programmer for MGT V9.2 is working with Basic suite or higher version.

The debugger requires higher version.

Do you have a license for this tool ?

Some months ago I've performed some tests and I was able to use the flash programmer for MGT V9.2 and MPC5125 with Basic suite license file.

Hi Pascal,

I’m using nodelock license.

Previously, I have the same problem with win 7 laptop. Problem solved.

However, the codewarrior tap cannot communicate with my target board.

Now, I change to xp laptop and try out.

But license problem.

I’m using MobileGT V9.2 nodelock license for xp laptop and PA V8.8 node lock license for win 7.

Hi Evan,

Do you have rehosted the license file ?

The license file is locked on a specific PC.

It could be better to continue to handle this problem via Case system.

To submit your case into the new system, please follow below steps:

  1) Go to http://www.nxp.com/support/sales-and-support:SUPPORTHOME.

  2) On the bottom of the page under Submit New Issues, click Hardware & Software.

  3) Register with your business email to access NXP technical online support.

  4) A verification email will be sent to your account. Click the link embedded in that email to verify your access.

  5) On the NXP online support page, select Contact Support from the top menu and click “submit a new case” to start the process.

Hi Pascal,

I had try to submit my case but it shows the following:

Error: Error occurred while loading a Visualforce page.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please email us<mailto:%20engineers.corner@nxp.com> if you need to get in touch.

I had also try to email NXP but failed, due to:

“We are sorry, but international embargo and export control laws prevent us from giving support to un-identified contacts, please use our web-interface to register and login and to use our support offerings.”

What should I do?

Previously, I’m using win7 with MobileGT licence (node lock) but also same license problem.

You actually suggested to use PA V8.8 Flash programmer license and rename all the license files name in that laptop.

Problem solved. But another problem occurred.

Codewarrior "run/pause" LED did not light up after connecting to the target board.

My colleague had used CWH-UTP-PPCC-HE and has no problem with the same target board.

That is why I went to try out using xp laptop with MobileGT license (node lock) but there’s license problem.

I need to use this software 2 weeks later.
