Hello again..
i installed CW10.1 on my Win Xp 32 Bit Notebook..
All is fine!
Someone else problems with Win 7 64 Bit?
Or is there someone who runs CW10.1 with all updates on Win 7 64 Bit? =)
I get the same error. Tried everything short of uninstalling the entire CodeWarrior suite and starting fresh. I am also running Win7 64-bit.
All software updates worked except for two:
CodeWarrior Core IDE, v1.0.1
CW MCU v10.1 Update, v1.0.1
I then ran the CodeWarrior executable in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. All the updates appeared to work just fine!
Hello
Did you try installing CodeWarrior outside of the C:\Program Files (x86) directory?
Try using C:\Freescale as root installation directory instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Freescale.
Also make sure you are logged in with Administrator right to do the install.

I have the same error during CW10.1 update installs. Without the updates, not possible to build the MQX libs. I don't want to change paths all over the place since this complicates moving projects across platforms.
Any solutions yet, other than installing from root (not a great solution) - not looking forward to one more uninstall/reinstall dance with CW & MQX.
System: Dell Optiplex I7, Win7 Pro x64.
Thanks - Steve
Hello
There is an Update Procedure document that explains how to install the Compiler Update (http://www.freescale.com/files/soft_dev_tools/doc/support_info/CW_MCU_v10.1_Update_Procedure.pdf) in offline or online mode.
Try using off-line mode.
