usb icp programming with 68hc908jb8

I am working with 68hc908jb8.

Now i'd like to implement icp programming via USB.

I downloaded an2398, program the icp firmware but i am not able to let icpusb program work.

Anyone with experience??

Thank you Peg,

i found about jB16, but JB16 has a preinstalled monitor code to connect via usb.

I have JB8 and i am a step behind. I have download an2398SW application note, i have programmed the firmware on the chip but i can't get the connection with the device. WinXP see the new hardware but icpexe program fails to connect (error in open_device()).

Usb routines must be programmed in user code before connecting??
