What version of CodeWarrior are you using? Is XP 32- or 64-bit?
No Codewarrior yet. Running 64bit Vista on a PC. Running 32bit XP on a Mac under Parallels Desktop which surprisingly I got to work better than on the Windows machines. The problem with the sensor board wound up being a broken solder joint on the battery holder. I have it more or less running on the Mac although ultimately I need my final application to run under Vista/Windows 7. My next Holy Grail quest will be to find an example project in VS or maybe CodeWarrior that just reads values from the sensor.
Thanks for the reply!

Hey about the Win 7 drivers... when you plug the USB stick we will install some driver to an USB interface...
Then go to device manager and look for the Human interface devices -> if you only have one, so is the USB stick, double click (or proprierties) and unistall the driver, or update the driver! The windows try get the driver, cancel and point to the folder for the USB drivers for Zstar3. After this you will get the Zstar3 working on Win7.
This procedure working to , if when you open the Zstar3 GUI and you get lot of errors and the choice to Continue, Quit.
Close the Zstar3 GUI and make the procedure above. If you make everything right, then open Zstar3 GUI and no more errors .
Some suggestions, questions just say
How about on the Windows7 64bit OS ?
Please teach me.
I can NOT install the ZSTR3 driver now. It seems that the STAR3 driver is 32bit OS exclusively.
( I can install the ZSTAR3 driver on the WindowsXP mode which is based on the Virtualization Technology. However I would like to use the ZSTAR3 on the native Windows7 64bit OS. )
With best regards.
Hi,
Installation was successful on win7 32bit, ZStar3 GUI is running well, but there's no Log file being created in "ZSTAR3 demo" folder.
May I know how to rectify this problem?
I would like to know how to install ZStar3 on win7 64bit too. USB driver installation fail.
Thanks.

About Bootloader, you need to hold the button before insert the USB STICK and still holding the button after this. Then run the commander (still holding the button) when in the command prompt you see the question to accept updating , just release the button and answer yes. (typing y in the command propmpt).
This procedure is to enter in the bootloader mode from command prompt and not from the Zstar GUI.
Iyour USB stick get stalled in the Zstar GUI, just flash the USB sticky using the command prompt procedure. Then open the Zstar GUI and we will ask you if you want Update the firmware of the USB Stick, just say yes, and you will get the Zstar3 Update Window then select the original Zstar3SW and flash the USB stick.
I think you will et everything working with this procedure. For me worked.
I hope you are able to put your hardware working.
