VDD Rise time

Friends,

I am using MC908QT1 device.

I need to know what happens when the Vdd rise time exceeds the specified 150 msecs.

Does this affect the start up?

Good morning.
I'm guessing that the reset and brown-out control circuits wont be guaranteed to work correctly (i.e. the processor may not start up correctly, etc.).

I strongly recommend that you keep Vcc voltage and timing within spec.

Hi Raghu,

There was some discussion in this forum maybe a couple of months ago about this and short term power outages etc. I've no time to search now.
