RUN command

Hi, all

   I am unclear of how to get the HC08 to implement RUN command through a RS232 connection with a PC. On PC, I am using CW 5.7.0 and ICS08. I use monitor mode circuit.

I think, when HC08 enter monitor mode and the physical connection between HC08 and PC is correctly set, the communication between HC08 and CW or ICS08 should be transparent. That is, PC sends a command to HC08 and HC08 executes that command immediately. This kind of operation is like using a chatting software. But there are more contents to be studied when it comes to a microcontroller and a  PC.
