RS232 Serial Terminal

Hello,
I am performing some tests with the 19132 SARD board and I am interfacing with the RS232 port of the board.

I would like to know if anyone can suggest me a freeware program to use
under windows xp as serial terminal.

I tried using hyper terminal but I got a problem after a period of usage.. i.e. it doesn't accept any input anymore.

Hyperterminal usually saves a log file somewhere.

Perhaps this log file is simply full. Try to delete the log file and restart the program: you need to re-configure it too.

I am working with sard 13192, hcs08gt60, But I am not able to reprogram flash using RS232.  I dont have BDM so I can reprogram it using the RS232 only. Which tool is required to reprogram through RS232? how is the procedure for this.

Please help to reprogram it.

I should have checked here first for serial port terminal programs. After much searching for open source alternatives, I found RealTerm too. And yep, Peg's right. It's wonderful!
