MMA7660FC: driver from Freescale?

Hello,

I have a MMA7660FC installed on my board. I would like to know if there is any driver software available from Freescale showing how initialization can be done?

In http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=MMA7660FC&fpsp=1&tab=Design_Tools_Tab I found only a header file containing register definitions; Is there any application file showing how to use the register definitions to configure the device?

Hello Bob,

There appears to be a series of Application Notes that provide information, including setup, for a number of different applications for the accelerometer.

AN3837, AN3838, AN3840 and AN3841.
