When I am putting MMA7660FC on a desktop with its top surface heading up, and queries its ZOUT value, I consistently get result indicating larger than 1g. The HEX figures are 0x17, ox18 or 0x19, with 0x19 most occurs most frequently. By referring to “Appendix C - MMA7660FC Acquisition Code Table” value 0x19 indicates 1.172g, which is impossible since the assembled PCB board is on a static desktop board, not on a plane or elsewhere.
Did I make something wrong, or the chip might be just defective?
