MCU Reset.

hi,

I am using 08GZ60 with CW v5 with P&E USB multilink and I have the following problem.
I am having to reset the chip before I can program again, otherwise the real time debugger keeps saying that ROM is secured. The only way to get out of this is to switch my own power instead of using the power provided by P&E, then ROM is released.
I know its not the security issue because I chose the bypass security option.
please let me know if this problem can be rectified.

Hello T,

This is not a problem but normal and expected.

The datasheet shows you need a Power On Reset.
