MC9S08PA16 binary flashing problem

Hi,

i am working with MC9S08PA16 mcu,i am trying to burning binary file into the mcuMC9S08PA16 by using codeWarrior IDE V11.1.i have developed project in code warrior V10.7 and generated  Code warrior v10.7 binary file,trying to flash binary into the mcu by using code warrior V11.1,getting some error.i am not able to flash binary file.

Did you perform the power-on reset?

are you using a custom board?

the problem is only this the project from cw 10.7? what happen if you try to program another project from cw 11?

are you using a multilink to program the device?

Hi,

i have not done power on reset,problem facing only for flashing a binary file into mcu by using code warrior version 11.1

we are using universal multilink programmer by using BDM connector

let me know anything else need to change in hardware and software

Please check if the two LED on the multilink are on.

Normally when you have this kind of error is due to the debugger can not low the reset line to 0V, so you need to turn off the target (your board), and then turn-on the board and try to program it. 

Are you using a custom board?

you also can force to enter to debug mode by putting the reset pin to low at the same time that the debugger is trying to enter to debug mode.
