Has anyone got any DZ60 samples they could part with. Freescale won't support me 
Not until February anyway. Have been waiting very patiently for this family (DZ & DV), so it's frustrating to see that others are "more worthy" than me

I'm pleased to see your interest in Freescale Products .
.As you say you could not get samples, I suppose you asked your Freescale Sales Representative for some.
If you show him your plans to use with some projections, you might be able to get a more precise date...
It also depends a lot on what kind of packaging and how many you ask 
The DZ with its CAN controller is quite targetted for Automotive applications I imagine.
Also, from its specifications, it looks like a good replacement part from the 908GZ60, for those who want higher bus speed and switch to the S08.
The only drawback being that there is no FSICE/MMDS/MMEVS emulator board for S08.

My "interest" in HC(S)08 products already consumes 50K+ parts per year. Including AZ60/GZ60.
Of course I have spoken with the local Freescale guys. "can't help you until April 1"
I asked for 10 samples. Got offered 50, but not until April 1st.
