Hi,
did anybody try to program this MCU with the programmer on http://www.ingdubatti.com.ar/index.htm?articulos.htm . I am not able to run it. In BDMLoader I get "POD software version........Error: ECO is different than expected. Invalid or no response. Check POD power."

The programmer was built exactly according to the schematic on the web. QT1A MCU used in the programmer was succesfully programmed with .s19 file I downloaded from the page.

I am not able to try the programmer with another type of MCU.

Thanks for any advice

Martin

There are two version of QB8

The older is HC08QB8

The newer one is HC9S08QB.

The S08QB8 is not available until 2009 Juanurary.

You posted this in 2008. So it is very likily that you mistaken the HC08QB8 as the S08QB8.  And therefore the S08BDM does not work.

I'm not familiar with this programmer, but you do realize that the 908 and 9S08 use different programming methods?

Witztronics: Of course I know it. The QT1A I mentioned above is a part of the HCS08 programmer.

Celsoken: I'll try it. But if someone here has any experience, tell me.

Hi gaminn,

I don't believe this adapter directly supports the QB. You may be able to adapt it from a close relative.
I do know a bit about this device as I helped with the English translation and some issues with the QG version.

The BDM adapter in question here uses a QT1 processor on the adapter.

Dear Martin,

My suggestion is that you ask directly Mr. Dubatti.
In the past I contacted him and he was very friendly, really a nice guy.

Cheers,

Celso
