Which version are you installing?
Only CW 10.x will run under WIN 64bit.
The older versions are 32 bit only.

Note I cannot get CW 10.1 or 10.3, 64 bit version to talk to a DEMOJM60 board.
I use VMWARE (free) to create a virtual XP enviroment so I can run CW 6.x
