I cannot find the part number MC68HC711E9MFNE2 on any data sheet. However I do find the MC68HC711E9MFN2. I cannot get any clarification what the "E" is designating.
Although I'm not 100% sure, IIRC, it is a designation for the part being RoHS compliant.
Thats what I assumed also. However I could not find any documents that definitively state that.
