Bluetooth with JM60 via Serial Port

Hi Folks,

I'm working on a project that we want to be using BT to communicate

with a host PC or WinCE device.

The BT module I'm looking at is the Panasonic PAN1321, which uses

'AT' commands to communicate via a serial port.  Also seems to be

pretty cost effective for volume production.

However, just knowing how things in the PC world aren't easily portable

back to our microcontrollers, will I need extensive Stack software to

provide connectivity with an external computer?

I see that Microchip has a stack for their micros... wondering if there is

one that the 08 family could make use of.

Something tells me that it's not going to be as easy to talk to as an old

Hayes modem with AT commands!

Thanks,

Tim

If you are looking to connect as a BT serial device, I have been using this:

MDFly Bluetooth

All you do is connect from the PC (or, in my case Android) and it the serial port on the MCU is connected no fuss no muss.
