Allication Note & Code for to drive a LCD

Hello

I'm working on a MC9RS08LA8 and I hvae to drive a LCD without LCD Controller. But the MC9RS08LA8 has an internal LCD Controler, but I didn't found an Appl. Note and C-Routine for this. The LCD is 1 line with 4 characters. Do you know any App. Note? I saw AN3796 but I think there are other ones?

Hello,

Did you also download the software associated with AN3796?  This software would appear to provide a good starting point for the low level LCD driver code that you require.  I guess that this will need to be adapted for the specific display that you are using.

I think that you will find that the majority of prior threads concern LCD modules with built-in driver hardware, rather than the operation of the internal hardware within the MCU device.
