AN2295 Serial Bootloader - Changes needed for 36.864MHz Osc.

Hi,

I would like to add to my project ( working on MC9S08JM60 ) a serial (UART) bootloader.

My MCU runs off an external 36.864MHz oscillator and I use SCI 2 for the UART communication.

What changes are need in the AN2295 code to adapt it to my hardware?

Thanks for the kind reply.

I was having problems getting the bootloader to work. At first I thought that this is due to the oscillator I was using that's generating a different bus clock and baud rate.

After reviewing the project i saw that its using the internal osc for the bootloader so its independent of my hardware.

Anyways, late last night I  finally got it to work.

At this point I am working on modifying the code to enter bootloader mode by a UART command.

After flashing the new firmware with the bootloader will a software reset be needed?

Given that the JM is now fully supported by this bootloader perhaps you can let us know what, more precisely, you are having issues with.
