Hi nch766,

About the JLINK daisy chain in IAR, I will help you to ask the Segger engineer, you also can post this quesiton on Segger form:Main Page - SEGGER Forum

About the Codewarrior daisy chain connect, I didn't find any configuration about it, maybe the codewarrior doesn't support this function. This point, I will help you to check with our codewarrior engineer, after I get the answer, I will reply you!

Best Regards,

Jingjing

Hi Customer,

I find your JLINK driver is very lower, please go the Segger web download the newest JLINK driver and try again.

SEGGER - The Embedded Experts - Download

Besides, in Segger web, there has a document about this topic:

https://www.segger.com/admin/uploads/productDocs/UM08001_JLink.pdf

Page 178, please refer to that document, and check your connection and configuration again.

After you test it with the newest JLINK driver, and still have problem, please give me the new picture from MDK, I will help you to check it.

Wish it helps you!

Have a great day,
Jingjing

Hi Jingjing Zhou,

I am very grateful to you for your concern and help, but it still not work!

Before get your help,I wonder if it's my compiler and debuger,I have purchased a new debuger from the Segger official net and download the newest JLINK driver to try again. This time,It always only updated to one of them(MICRO1 in the picture)whichever MK60 I chose.I also tried using IAR compiler, there still only one of them can be updata.

The circuit diagram that I use is as follows,I have checked all the connection is no problem...What should i do now ? should I  need to try something different debuger like ULink?

I'm looking forward to your help!

Hi nch766,

1. IAR

it seems your IAR configuration still have problems.

If you connect 2 device, you should configure:

Device0:

*TAP number = 0 (Cortex TAP, the nearest ==> #0)

*Preceeding bits= 0 (the very first device/TAP in the chain)

Device1:

*TAP number = 2

*Preceeding bits= 9(5+4)

2:MDK

I also search some materials, and from your picture, we can see the manual configuration is gray, it won't allow the modification with JLINK, but I find in some document, the MDK need to use the ULINK2, the ULINK2 will allow the manual configuration in MDK.

Wish it helps you!

If you still have question, please contact with me!

Have a great day,
Jingjing

Hi Jingjing Zhou,

     Thanks for your help!

I have solved this problem with ULINK2 in MDK,But there is no progress when I use JLINK in IAR though I have configured as your words.

However ,I'm very interested in the JTAG daisy chain.I will try to use it between Kinetis microcontrollers and FPGA or DSP,Do you have any suggestion for me ? I will attempted it in codeWarrior soon,Is there have a dedicated debuger for codeWarrior ?
