Dear LPCxpresso Support,

I'm using the LPCXpresso v8.0.0 [Build 526] [2015-11-23]  in debug mode with both LPClink 2.0 and SEGGER Jlink. At certain point the step by step command have been disabled and also the run command has been disabled. I'm able to switch from the editing mode to the debug mode and to load the program to the LPC1766 flash.

See the attachment

Any Idea how to enable the run, step-by-step commands  ?

Paolo

As vtw.443e says, your screenshots appear to show the IDE not actually debugging a target.

Can you reproduce the problem when you debug with your LPC-Link2 running the default CMSIS-DAP software?

There was an Eclipse/CDT issue of this sort, but we have not seen it or had user reports of it  for several LPCXpresso IDE releases now.

If you are really getting this problem, one workaround that worked for some users, is to close down the IDE, then trying removing (or safer, renaming) the .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.debug.ui folder within your workspace.

Please confirm your findings.

Regards,
LPCXpresso Support

Your pictures show that you are not debugging (The console windows both say 'Terminated') and so the step commands will obviously not be available. You must start debugging (again?).
