No G2D for i.MX8MQ

Hello,

In an NXP document it states that imx8mq has no 2D (thus no G2D) video acceleration.

I want to use  imxvideoconvert_g2d element in gstreamer but this seems not to exist for  imx8mq.

Can someone please shed light on this?

Hello Malik,

    Yes, GPU in i.MX8MQ only supports 3D, not supports 2D acceleration.

Any idea how to do hardware accelerated video upscaling (Gstreamer or native). I was hoping to use G2D API for this.
