USB OC signal level

Hello Yuri,

unfortunately, it is not clear what kind of logic level the OC-pin (overcurrent) has.

In our design we have a power switch which indicates the OC-signal as low active. But if we implement the OC-signal in our software it will always detect overcurrent an shutdown the powerswitch.

Is the OC-signal now low or high active ?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Juergen

Hello,

It is assumed, that active level of the USB OC signal is LOW.

For i.MX8M GPIO LOW level specs should be taken in consideration.

Use table "GPIO DC parameters", parameter "Low-level input voltage"

in i.MX8M Datasheets (Hardware Specs).

Have a great day,

Yuri
