Hi,
We would like to use the OTP (iMXRT1020) to store some of our production/manufacturing data. Would like to know which OTP regions are safe to write to?
The IMXRT1020 reference manual lists the OTP memory footprint as shown below. Could not find information in manual regarding which OTP regions can be used for storing manufacturing data.
We have about 60 bytes of manufacturing info that we need to store on OTP. Can we use MEM, SW_GP,GP2 and MAC regions to store the info?
Our product does not have a MAC address so, can the MAC region be used to store some other data viz. serial number instead of MAC address?
Regards,
Ashish
Hi Ashish Pradhan,
Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
Q1) Can we use MEM, SW_GP, GP2 and MAC regions to store the info?
-- Yes, you can use the fields except for the MEM field, as the MEM field is reserved section.
Have a great day,
TIC

Thank you jeremyzhou for the quick response.
Can we also use ANALOG and MISC_CONF sections?

Ashish
Hi Ashish Pradhan,
Thanks for your reply.
1) Can we also use ANALOG and MISC_CONF sections?
-- I'm afraid you can't do that.
Have a great day,
