Hi avbot,
i.MX RT1064 EVK just has the cadence file, which can be downloaded from this link:
https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=i.MXRT160EVKDS
We don't have the AD version.
So, if you want to use the Altium, you can covert that cadence .brd file to Altium.
BTW, do you want to get the MIMXRT1064DVL6A package in the AD tools?
If yes, you can download :
https://www.nxp.com/assets/downloads/data/en/symbols-footprints/MIMXRT1064DVL6A.bxl
the bxl can get the Altium footprint with ultra librarian.
Do you design the new project on your side with RT1064?
Best Regards,
Kerry
Hi, yes this request is because sadly there is only Cadence file on your site which is not acceptable because from many years of experience converting is a nightmare (creates more issues than it solves).
So seems we are better to start from scratch.
Thanks for the links to the footprints.
Hi avbot,
Sorry for the inconvenience we bring you.
Until now, we just provide the Cadence file, maybe you can refer to it, and draw the AD file to design your own board.
Best Regards,
Kerry
Hi
You need to ask them to save in Cadence Ascii format since Altium can only import the binary version if you also have Cadence installed (which means you could open the original anyway...).
There is such a file on the forum somewhere for the 1050EVB as a starting point since it uses the same footprint.
Regards
Mark
