Starting pointers for i.MXRT1060 connected to FPGA using FlexSPI

Hi,

We are using IMXRT1060 and using Flex SPI to connect it to FPGA. Both Port A and B are connected to FPGA, so we will be using 8-bit bus.

Can you please suggest me some starting pointers that can help me understand what to implement? I am looking at evkmimxrt1064_flexspi_nor_polling_transfer

Is this the closest example that I can look at?

Thanks,

Palak

Hello Palak,

Yes, this is the closest example project that we have. Unfortunately, we don't have an example project that demonstrates how to interface an FPGA with an RT.

Just as heads-up, the RT1060 family has two FlexSPI interfaces. It's important that you connect your external memory to one fo these interfaces and the FPGA to the other one.

Have a great day,

Victor
