Hi All
Our custom board is being laid out that will use the RT1020 running from a IS25WP064 Serial Flash Memory. We don't have SDRAM attached do it will be running ins XiP mode using the internal ram only. Can some one tell me if this is a good way to do it? Can you for see any problems. Our application doesn't need much RAM .
Also we have another processor on board that talks to to wifi and will be able to download new firmware images for the RT1020. Our plan is to load the image using the serial boot loader into the Flash Memory. Do you think this will work?
Thanks
Hi Taimur
yes one can use XiP mode using the internal ram only, may be useful to check

For loading the image into the Flash Memory one can look on
