Hi,
I'm currently designing a board which needs to be attached to an RGB888 Display.
From what I can understand from the Reference Manual of the iMXRT1064 there are various possibility to attach the display.
In the NXP board the display is attached in a BGR order and currently I attached the pins following that idea to give the firmware guys the same platform as the one they have on hands:
LCDIF_D0..D7 goes to DISPLAY_B0..B7
LCDIF_D8..D15 goes to DISPLAY_G0..G7
LCDIF_D16..D23 goes to DISPLAY_R0..R7
As in the attached picture.
Problem is that this project is a porting from an MCU of another manufacturer and the firmware guys allready have all the images and code ready to be ported on the iMXRT1064...
What is your advice? should I connect the bus in a RGB888 order like so:
D0..D7 to R0..R7
D8..D15 to G0..G7
D16..D24 to B0..B7
Thank you very much for you help.
Hi @SimoneT
Maybe our Printed Circuit Boards and Schematics can help you (https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=i.MXRT160EVKDS), it is a reference to design, and in a pdf page 6 have a schematic for an LCDIF
I hope it help you
