Hi @Mc2023 ,
It is caused by the RT11XX IP, VIDE_MUX have limit which will cause the raw support issues.
RT1170 rew RM already list the support data types:
RT1160 is the same.
The workaround: Use an ISP convert chip, eg, AP1302, convert the raw to MIPI CSI interface, then connect to RT1170 MIPI CSI. This is working, but it might be considered by you since this implies adding a component to your solution.
Other option is using i.MX processors with MIPI-CSI2 that can support raw type.
Wish it helps you!
If you have the new issues, welcome to create the new case.
Best Regards,
Kerry
Hi @Mc2023 ,
RT1160 and RT1170 is the same situation, MIPI-CSI cant support the raw data, and no workaround now.
If customer want to use the raw data method, they can use the parallel CSI interface instead of the mipi-csi.
Wish it helps you!

Kerry
Hi @kerryzhou ,
Thanks for your feedback!
Now we are in an embarrassment!!!
Could you reply to the following questions:
1) What fault is it that MIPI-CSI does not do gray-scale?
2) Is it the fault of the sensor?
3) Or the processor?
4) If the processor: can we switch to another processor?
