Hello,

Is it possible to use the 1064 as a drop-in replacement on a board that uses a 1062, with no software/linkage changes, and just boot from the already extant external flash chip?

Is there any gotcha that I need to know about?

Thanks,

-caleb

Hi Caleb

The i.MX RT 1062 boots from external QSPI at 0x60000000.

The i.MX RT 1064 boots from its internal QSPI at 0x70000000. It is not possible to boot from the external one, even though it would be at 0x60000000.

Regards

Mark
