Hi,
on the RT1060 EVK we have the option to boot from the onboard IS25WP064AJBLE.
In our custom design we have to use a higher capacity and 3.3V QSPI Flash to boot from.
We decided to take the IS25LP512M-JLLE as it comes the closest to the IS25WP064AJBLE on the EVK.
This is how it is connected to the RT1062.
Q: Will we be able to boot from it and what will be needed actions for that?
Thank you very much!
Paul
Hi Paul Brandt
Yes, there shouldn't be any problem to use this memory with those capacitor value and the voltage level. In order to be able to use this memory, you need to change the driver used to program it and in the SDK software, in the xip folder, change the configurations that are defined for the EVK board.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
We're trying to use a similar flash chip, IS25LP128-JKLE. We can't get it to flash. Can you tell me what we need to change the driver to and what we have to do for configuration in the xip folder?
Thanks,
