hi everyone.
I am working on imx6qp sabre ai board with yocto version Jethro(2.0.1) and Linux kernel 4.1.15.
Now we are working on I-Pod/phone connection for which we procured MFI module(Apple authentication module) from the apple.
As schematics says this module is accommodated at j46. but the device is not detected in the kernel logs as well system.
Can someone help us how to proceed further..?

Thanks for your quick response.
does the driver will detect the MFI module itself ? or do we need to tweek something?
because if i use "i2cdetect -y 1" or "i2cdetect -y 2" i cant see the authentication device address though the MFI module (P/N:sp000918596)connected to j46 .
I am getting proper voltages in the j46 pins i.e pin1 : clock; pin2:Gnd pin3: pulled up pin5: 3.3V pin8: pulled up.
and i have connected the iphone to usb hub and checked (usb connected to USB1 j30).
check and help
