ums 1 mmc 0 doesn't work based on kernel 4.14.98-2.3.0 or 2.3.2 in imx8qxpc0mek

Hi guys,

When I execute "ums 1 mmc 0" for downloading kernel image and dtb without entering uuu, the device always doesn't reset cpu and doesn't enter UMS mode.

Is this known issue on kernel 4.14.89-2.3.x? and do you have any idea to download kernel image and dtb without uuu?

kernel 4.14.98-2.3.0 is very old kernel not more supported, recommended to migrate

to latest releases    https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

Options for downloading image can be found in Linux Guide included in  Documentation

I understand your comment, but i should keep kernel version to 4.14.98.2.3.x.

Do you have any patch to enable ums in kernel 4.14.98.2.3.x?

as workaround one can try with atf from release L4.14.78 (rel_imx_4.14.98_2.0.0_ga + rel_imx_4.14.78_1.0.0_ga atf )
