Hi,

I downloaded android kitkat image from android_kk4.4.2_1.0.0-ga_core_image_6slevk and set the output to HDMI but it doesn't work. There is an error imx_epdc_fb imx_epdc_fb: Unable to get display PMIC regulator.err = 0xffffffed.

My bootargs: bootargs console=ttymxc0,115200 init=/init androidboot.console=ttymxc0 video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,bpp=32 androidboot.hardware=freescale.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Regards,

Bruce

Hi Igor,

I have a MCIMXHDMICARD connected. It works fine with Sharp TV using the SD card provided in the package but the Android version is 4.0.4.

Regards,

Bruce.

Hi Bruce

HDMI supports only limited number of video modes provided in android driver, reading EDID from

monitor. After EDID reading, the nearest video mode will be chosen in the

EDID video mode list. One can look at description in sect.

18.3.1 Setting the Video Kernel Parameter MX53UG

So one can check what mode is used by this monitor then recheck driver,

if it is supported. Also one can try other monitor.

Best regards

igor
