iMX6 chip in our customized linux board,

#uname -a

Linux utilite-ubuntu-desktop 3.0.35-cm-fx6-4 #6 SMP Fri May 30 10:33:43 EDT 2014 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux

Every once a while board reboots without message, nothing special in linux console, not in /var/loig/syslog.

The problem happens on multiple boards on different times, even midnight when no one is touching the board at all.

Not much activity from our application.

i'm dummy to this kind of issue, where should i get started 1st ?

Thanks !

root@utilite-ubuntu-desktop:/opt/ultra# cat /proc/cpuinfo

Interesting. Does the serial console log indicate some reason of it? Could it be that the chip is getting too hot? If you set the kernel to use one core (maxcpus=1), do you still see the reboot?

sorry i was out and just get back on this.

Nothing shows up in serial console, it's just like you unplug the power and things stop suddenly.

Not sure the chip is getting too hot, no closure in our board, otherwise the evaluation board would root too.

Never tried maxcpus=1 yet, again we copied evaluation board.
