I've been trying to wrap my head around the MFG tool as I need to configure a GPIO to flash my device. My issue is that I cannot use the standard intermediate u-boot because my device will simply power down if a GPIO is not properly configured. There seem to be so many different versions of U-boot - I am not sure what I am supposed to do. Looking in my ucl2.xml file I can see that the first u-boot that is loaded on the device is
<CMD state="BootStrap" type="boot" body="Recovery" file="../../TX6_MFG/u-boot_mfg.bin" >Loading mfg U-Boot...</CMD>
I assume that this is the one that I need to replace? Where would I be able to find the source code for u-boot_mfg.bin?
This is an old version of the Freescale MFG Tool V2 2.1.0.
