Hello Community,
I have a question concerning the “NoC (Network on Chip) fabric IP” of the i.MX6 QuadPlus. We are interested in utilizing the Advanced QoS control feature of the NoC to modify the memory bus priority of the ARM cores and GPU.
Upon comparing the “i.MX 6DualPlus/6QuadPlus Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev. 3, 05/2020” with the “i.MX 6DualPlus/6QuadPlus Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev. 0, 02/2016”, I observed that the entire section detailing the “NoC (Network on Chip) fabric IP” has been omitted from the document.
Could anyone explain why this feature has been removed from the documentation?
Is it still safe for us to use this feature?
Best Regards,
Sebastian

I will check the documentation with the team, and I'll contact you as soon as possible.
