The i.MX53 Application Processor Reference Manual still has a large number of obvious errors in it.
I'll list some of the technical problems I've found in another post, but the high number of spelling errors in these manuals don't inspire confidence in ANY of the content.
They can't have ever had a spelling checker run over them given the number I was able to get a checker to find in 5 minutes.
All I had to do was to export from Acrobat to a Text File, and then filter out all the lower case words with a simple shell command like:
cat iMX53RM_V2_1.txt | tr ' ' '\n' | tr -d ";:=,.()\"" | sort | uniq | grep -v [A-Z0-9_] > imx53rm.txt
Running "enchant -l" over that found the following obvious ones (and others I haven't listed):

It is now THREE years later and here's a new version of the i.MX6DQ manual as of this month (September 2017). It is now at Revision 4, up from the "0.1" I checked before. Let's see how many of those spelling errors have been fixed in 4 revisions after the above "escalation".

Less than half of the ones listed above have been fixed. They're some of the words selected from 1500 ones that "spell" didn't like out of the 9000 unique words in the 1.49 million word file. More than half of those are things like "andi" and "ahb", but that still leaves hundreds of real spelling errors.
The ones marked "[1]" above are also in the new IMX7D Reference manual (08.2016).
