Hello,

Is it possible to blow the i.MX28 fuses from userspace using a mainline kernel (our case 3.15.8 or 3.17.2). We don't find the way :-(.

Best regards,

Manuel.

This is not supported, but why can't you just program the fuses via U-boot instead?

Thanks Fabio,

this is just what we're doing now and what we'd like to avoid. Linux for flashing plus u-boot for blowing fuses work perfect but is a slow method: that is why we're looking for an integrated process.

Best regards,

Manuel.

You can not do it, in UserSpace since some of the fuses are needed during the booting process or needed by the Kernel.
