Turning on L2 Switch

Anyone have tried the L2 Switch feature of I.MX287 ? I enabled this feature in kernel config and booted my EVK with this kernel. As documented, i.MX28EVK uses only ENET0 port to send and receive frames (eth0, switch port 0). However, I was expecting that ENET1 had a "switch behavior", I mean, that it was possible to send datagrams between switch ports 1 and 2 (datagrams coming from ENET1 and addressed to other MACs). I am wondering how to use the port mirror features as well.

Any tips ? Or am I thinking wrong about this L2 feature ?

Hi,

I find a ./ltib --force after any change is required for a release is build, just removing the related .o files doesn't always guarantee to implement the kernel changes are required.

I can not say exactly what happened but after an ltib distclean and compiling everything again the L2 switch started to work. Thanks anyway.

Just a note: in fact I want to use the "daisy chain" feature.
