Turning off WiFi/Ethernet/HDMI/LEDs on imx8m (Google Coral dev board)

Hi,

I'm trying to reduce power on a imx8m board (Google Coral Dev board) while in an active state, but I'm struggling to find information about how to turn things off in software (e.g. HDMI, ethernet, LEDS from the terminal). Can anyone point me in the direction of documentation that can help? I've tried looking in the i.mx linux reference manual, but with no luck. E.g. does ifconfig eth0 down actually disable any power being drawn from the ethernet port? I've tried turning of LEDs following similar processes for a raspberry pi, but changing trigger values didn't result in any visible changes. 

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks!

There is little information on how to use the board besides Google’s setup guides on the Coral’s documentation:

I would recommend reaching trough their support options to see if they have additional information on how to handle their modules (like disabling the Wi-Fi module).
