Secure Boot iMXM Mini two boards, different behavior

I programmed the fuses for an iMX8M Mini board, loaded a signed image and watched it boot without HAB errors. After that I programmed the security bit so that the board would not boot without a valid image. The board continued to boot just fine.

I programmed the fuse on a second board the same way I programmed them on the first board. I loaded the same image and I am seeing HAB errors.

I then went into u-boot on both boards and used the "fuse read" command to read the value of the fuses in Banks 6 and 7. The fuses are identical. The fuses in Banks 1 3 and 2 2 are also identical.

Does anyone have an idea of where I should start looking?

Thanks for responding. The issue was that the CSF.bin file was constructed differently and incorrectly. Once this was corrected, both cards booted as expected.

Hi @jimtaylor-vertiv,

The behavior you are describing is strange!

To debug more on the same, provide me with full logs, including the HAB error.

Thanks & Regards,
Dhruvit.
